How many distinct firms sit behind those records.
The focus areas those investors list, ranked by how often they appear.
The cities they cluster in, counted only where a location is recognisable.

You do not see

Firm names, partner names, or how to reach any of them.
Check sizes. Only a small minority of records carry one, so publishing a figure would be inventing precision the data does not have.
Any prediction about interest. A focus-area match says an investor works in your space, nothing more.
A guaranteed reachable set. The count ignores the plan and recency filters a real send applies, so it is an upper bound.

How the count is produced

1. The deck is read, not stored
Text is pulled out of the PDF in memory. If your deck is a scan or an image export with no text layer, there is nothing to pull, which is why the form takes an optional one-line description as a fallback. The file itself is never written to storage.
2. A model infers the sector
The extracted text goes to the same classifier the paid product uses, which returns a sector and a confidence level. Both are shown to you, along with the model's own one-line reasoning, so a bad read is visible instead of silently wrong.
3. The database is counted
The sector is expanded into search keywords, and every active investor whose stated focus areas contain one of them is counted. The same query drives the distributions underneath. Nothing is estimated and nothing is rounded up.
